About

  Welcome!!!

My name is Erin Saxton-Jobin and I am the owner/creative/designer of PaperCuts Invitation Design.  I started PaperCuts Invitation Design in August 2009 while planning my own wedding at the same time.  Some might say I was crazy starting a business at that time, I just say it was me being ambitious.

I run PaperCuts Invitation Design out of my home in Mississauga Ontario where I live with my husband who is a graphic designer/animator.  I love to meet with clients to learn about them, their big days and what they have in mind for their perfect invitations.

During a typical meeting my clients are able to see samples from previous jobs that I have done, and well as colour and paper samples.  This helps to give them an idea of what they can expect and just how creative we can get with their invitations.  I love working with clients one and one and through email, I love that I get to learn about them in a personal environment on a personal level.

I went to college and got my diploma in Accounting where I have been working in that industry for 10+ years.  I felt the lack of creativity was holding me back from being happy with my life.  I have also had a weird fascination with paper since I was young.  The texture, colour, patterns all are just exciting.  I started doing my own wedding invitations in 2009 and ran into some snags which ended up costing me more money then expected and more headache.  Of course doing a Halloween Theme Wedding and Wedding Invitations I should have known problems would arise.  I however thought maybe I could help others minimize their cost and headaches with their wedding invitations.  That is when PaperCuts Invitation Design was born.

I know that weddings cost a lot of money and you put a lot of time into it.  I wanted my invitations to be reasonably priced for couples on a budget and still look fantastic.  Each client I get, I learn new things and I love it.  I am absolutely in love with everyone I have worked with so far and can’t wait to fall in love with more!

 Sincerely yours,

Erin Saxton-Jobin
